Controls and match rules
Skate with WASD/arrows or the touch arrows relative to your camera: up moves toward your view and left/right strafe. First person puts you at helmet height with your stick and gloves visible. Top down looks vertically down and follows your skater. Press V or use the View button to switch between them without interrupting the match; your choice follows you to other game maps. Player chase and arena spectator views remain available in Camera. Right-drag or swipe the rink to turn the player camera, and C or Center view faces the attacking net. The camera centers automatically when teams change ends or you switch skaters. In Top down, tap or drag the ice to aim. In First person, aim with the pointer; on touch, look toward the target and use Auto action.
Space or the primary trigger uses Auto action to collect, steal/poke, check, shoot or pass when appropriate. Choose a specific action in Trigger action to force it. E passes, F poke-checks, Q body-checks, and Shift lofts a shot. X switches skaters, L changes your shift at a stoppage or near the bench, G pulls/returns the goalie, and T takes your team’s timeout during a stoppage. H hooks, J slashes and K holds: referees can penalize illegal contact.
Rookie is the relaxed tier. Club, Pro and Elite increase AI pressure. Delayed offside requires attackers to tag up; hybrid icing uses the race to the end-zone dots. Minor and major penalties affect manpower. Tied exhibition games use 3-on-3 overtime then a shootout; cups use playoff sudden death.
